BIOGRAPHY
Singer and Guitarist Mark Charles Hill has played and performed music in the Rogue Valley for over 20 years. His music consists of a wide range of covers from John Denver, John Prine to James Taylor whenhe is playing solo; to The Beatles, Van Morrison then swing into Hank Williams and Willie Nelson when playing with the Mark Charles Hill & Friends Band.
In 2012, Mark became one of the finalists in the Rising Star competition hosted by South Stage Cellars and the Britt Festival. He played in a bluegrass band called Long Mountain Revival, has played in concerts for the City of Medford's Commons Amphitheater and Art and Bloom Festival. Mark has played with Carla Bauer in a duet called "Just For Fun."
Mark grew up in California and played in a trio at Lake Tahoe in 1974, he then moved to Medford from Santa Cruz in 1990. He plays mostly Folk, Rock, Country, Gospel and Bluegrass, and has a set list of over 300 songs.
